That sounds like a fun challenge, I'm in! If you have any reference tracks you'd like me to listen to that are in the ballpark of what you're looking for (in terms of mood, instrumentation, gaming era, etc.) feel free to send them my way.

Hah yeah, in hindsight I could not have been be more vague.

I would prefer to donate my time to smaller passion projects, games that people are making for the love of making games. They don't have to be non-commercial, though! I really just want to help people who love what they are doing.

However if you are for example making some cynical gatcha casino, loot-crate laden, microtransaction riddled skinner box, I'm probably less interested.

I make music as a hobby, so I'll work for free under the right circumstances.

Hi all, I like to write classic tracker based music which I think could fit this genre well! I am an experienced programmer so I can help out there, but would prefer to focus on the tunes. Here are some examples, the are more on my YouTube page:
